Career and Academic Opportunities

Individuals who complete the BS Chemistry and MAT Secondary Science will be regarded as highly qualified to teach grades 6鈥�12 Chemistry. Having completed the MAT, these individuals are qualified to pursue an advanced degree in education, such as an Education Specialist (EdS), Doctor of Education (EdD), or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), each in a variety of related disciplines. Some MAT graduates may pursue a Masters degree (MA) in Chemistry or similar field.

Admission Requirements

  • GPA: 3.00 in 糖心Vlog官方 undergraduate coursework
  • 60 hours completed toward Bachelors degree
  • 30 hours completed in residence at 糖心Vlog官方
  • Recommendation from 2 糖心Vlog官方 faculty

Double Counted Courses Include

  • SCED 6412 to count for Integrative Elective
  • EDUC 6240 to count for Integrative Elective
  • Science Elective (graduate course with CHEM, SCI, or SCED prefix) to count for Integrative Elective

Apply to Double Owl early in Junior year. Apply to Graduate Program in Senior Year by posted graduate program deadline.
